The Best ChatGPT Ads Tools in 2026: 7 Options Compared

Seven ways to run ChatGPT ads in 2026, from free DIY in Ads Manager to AI copilots, dashboards and done-for-you services, compared honestly.

ChatGPT ads went from invite-only to self-serve in about three months. OpenAI started showing ads to logged-in adult users on the Free and Go tiers in the US on February 9, 2026, and the self-serve ChatGPT Ads Manager (beta) opened to US advertisers on May 5, 2026. That second date matters most for tooling: once the reported ~$200K minimum commitment went away, a small ecosystem of third-party tools appeared almost overnight.

But "ChatGPT ads tool" now describes very different products: dashboards, AI copilots, an enterprise visibility platform, and services that do the work for you. This guide sorts them by what they actually do. Pricing is as reported in 2026; check each vendor's site for current numbers.

How to judge a ChatGPT ads tool

ChatGPT ads are not keyword ads, and they are not social feed ads. The unit is a "chat card" shown below ChatGPT's answer: advertiser name, favicon, a 3–50 character headline, a body of up to about 100 characters, an image, and a landing URL. Targeting runs on context hints, which are plain-language descriptions of the situations an ad belongs in, not keyword lists.

That shapes what a useful tool needs to handle:

  • Creative for a tiny format. Fifty characters of headline and a hundred of body leave no room for filler.
  • Context hints. Good hints describe a situation, a need and an intent. "Parent looking for a quick weeknight dinner their kids will eat" works; "dinner recipes" does not.
  • Policy. OpenAI bans unverifiable claims, invented stats, guaranteed outcomes, fake urgency and use of other companies' trademarks, and restricts categories like supplements, finance and dating.
  • Bidding and budget. CPM, CPC and (for product-feed campaigns, in beta since August 2026) oCPC.
  • Measurement. The OpenAI pixel plus the server-side Conversions API.
  • Who does the work. This is the question most comparisons skip, and it usually decides the purchase.

1. OpenAI's ChatGPT Ads Manager (DIY)

What it is: The native self-serve platform. You create campaigns, write chat cards, set context hints, choose CPM or CPC, install the pixel, and watch results.

Strengths: It costs nothing beyond ad spend, it gets new features first (bulk edits, budget type edits and CPM-to-CPC conversion arrived in June 2026; product-feed and carousel formats in August), and you have total control. If you already run Meta or Google in-house and enjoy the work, this is the honest default.

Limitations: Everything is on you: the copy, the hints, the policy review, the optimization. There is no research layer telling you which messages your niche already responds to.

Best for: Hands-on marketers with time to learn a new channel. Our DIY Ads Manager comparison goes deeper on the trade-off.

2. Ryze AI

What it is: An AI marketer that manages campaigns across Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads, and reportedly ChatGPT ads. You direct it through Claude or ChatGPT, and it works within approval settings you control.

Strengths: Breadth. If you want one assistant across most of your paid channels, Ryze is built for that. The flat monthly fee (the Paid Ads Autopilot plan is reported at ~$89/mo with a 7-day trial) is easy to budget, and higher done-for-you tiers exist for brands that want more hands-off help (an Ecom Autopilot tier is reported around ~$1,499/mo).

Limitations: At the entry tier it is software you operate. The quality of output depends on how well you direct and review it.

Best for: Teams running several channels who want an AI layer across all of them.

3. Adstudio

What it is: An AI ad management dashboard across Google, Meta and TikTok. Adstudio was one of the first third-party integrations to show ChatGPT Ads campaigns, connected by API key, next to other channels.

Strengths: Low entry pricing (Hobby is reported at ~$16 per workspace per month and Business at ~$32 per workspace per month on annual billing, with Enterprise custom) and a single view of performance across channels.

Limitations: A dashboard shows what is happening; you still write and manage the ChatGPT creative.

Best for: Marketers who already know what they want to run and need cleaner cross-channel reporting.

4. Adspirer

What it is: An MCP server, described as an "AI paid media manager," that connects Google, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok ad accounts to AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude.

Strengths: A flexible, task-based model: a free plan with 15 tasks a month, then Plus (~$49), Pro (~$99) and Max (~$199) per month as reported. If you already live inside an AI assistant, managing ads by conversation is natural.

Limitations: Its reported channel list is Google, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok, so check whether ChatGPT ads are supported when you evaluate it. Like Ryze, you are still the operator.

Best for: AI-assistant power users managing established channels.

5. Evertune

What it is: An enterprise GEO (generative engine optimization) and AI-visibility platform with an AI Brand Index and prompt tracking across many AI models. It also positions itself on using that GEO data to run ChatGPT advertising.

Strengths: Depth on the organic side: how AI models describe your brand versus competitors across many prompts.

Limitations: Pricing is reported at ~$800/mo for Pro (some sources report ~$3,000/mo starting), Enterprise is custom, and a demo is required. That is a lot of platform for a simple paid test.

Best for: Larger brands with a GEO program that want paid and organic AI visibility in one strategy. Read more in our ChatGPT ads vs GEO guide.

6. A ChatGPT ads agency

What it is: A traditional agency adding ChatGPT ads to its service list.

Strengths: Human strategists, custom work, and often a team that can also run your Meta, Google and creative production.

Limitations: Typical agency pricing is a monthly retainer, often $2k–$10k+, and/or a percentage of spend, plus setup fees. ChatGPT ads are new, so few agencies have deep experience yet; ask what they have actually launched.

Best for: Brands with larger budgets that want one partner for many channels. Our guide on how to choose a ChatGPT ads agency lists the questions to ask.

7. SecondWin

What it is: A done-for-you service focused only on ChatGPT ads. You enter your URL, SecondWin works out your product, buyer and niche, mines Meta's Ad Library for the longest-running ads in that niche (ads that survive 60+ days tend to be the ones that keep selling), extracts the proven promise, proof and offer, and writes original chat cards that answer the questions your buyers ask ChatGPT.

Strengths: You don't operate software. Creative starts from messages your market has already validated, every ad is checked against OpenAI's policies and SecondWin's own rules, and campaigns run in your own OpenAI ad account, so OpenAI bills ad spend to you directly. Pricing is flat and published: Starter $99/mo, Growth $299/mo, Scale $799/mo.

Limitations: ChatGPT ads only; it won't manage your Meta or Google campaigns. It isn't a fit for B2B companies selling to teams, because those buyers are mostly on paid ChatGPT plans that don't see ads. There is no free trial (the URL analysis is free), no published case studies yet, and you get less hands-on control than with software.

Best for: Consumer brands (ecommerce, DTC, consumer apps, courses, local services) that want to test ChatGPT ads without learning a new platform.

Which one fits you?

  1. You have time and like the work: Start with DIY in Ads Manager. Use free tools like our context hints generator to speed up the hard parts.
  2. You run four or more channels and want one AI layer: Look at Ryze AI or Adspirer.
  3. You mainly need reporting across channels: Adstudio.
  4. You are an enterprise brand investing in AI visibility: Evertune.
  5. You want a human team across all channels and have the budget: An agency.
  6. You sell to consumers and want ChatGPT ads handled for you at a fixed price: SecondWin.

Budget math: tool fees vs ad spend

Tool fees look small next to media, which is the right way to think about them. Say you start at SecondWin's recommended range of $50/day for a month:

  • Ad spend: $50 × 30 = $1,500, billed by OpenAI.
  • At roughly $4 per click (the middle of OpenAI's recommended $3–5 range), that buys about 375 clicks.
  • If your site converts paid traffic at 2%, that's about 7–8 orders.

Now add the tool. A $99/mo service raises total cost to $1,599; a $2,000 retainer raises it to $3,500, more than doubling your cost per order at this spend level. At $500/day, a retainer is a smaller share of total cost. Run your own numbers in the ChatGPT ads budget calculator before you commit.

How SecondWin helps

If you want to see what a done-for-you approach would produce before paying anything, the free analysis is the place to start. Enter your URL in the free ChatGPT ads analysis and SecondWin reads your site, identifies your buyer and niche, and previews the proven messages and buyer questions it would build ads around. No account needed. If it looks right, compare plans on the pricing page; if another tool on this list fits better, the preview still gives you useful raw material for your own ads.

FAQ

What is the best ChatGPT ads tool for a small business?

It depends on time more than budget. If you can spend a few hours a week learning the platform, OpenAI's Ads Manager is free and has every native feature. If you can't, a flat-fee done-for-you service like SecondWin keeps tooling costs predictable. Multi-channel AI tools such as Ryze AI or Adspirer make the most sense when you already run several ad channels and want one place to manage them.

Do I need a third-party tool to run ChatGPT ads?

No. Since May 5, 2026, US advertisers can use the self-serve ChatGPT Ads Manager directly with no minimum total spend, only a minimum daily budget of roughly $25 per campaign. Third-party tools add convenience, research, cross-channel reporting or done-for-you management, but none of them is required to launch a campaign.

Are these tools affiliated with OpenAI?

Ads Manager is OpenAI's own product. The others, including SecondWin, are independent companies that work with OpenAI ad accounts through the platform's access features or API. SecondWin is not affiliated with OpenAI, and you should be skeptical of any vendor that implies an official endorsement. Ask any tool exactly how it connects to your account.

How much should I budget on top of the tool fee?

OpenAI's minimum is about $25 per day per campaign in the US, and SecondWin recommends $50–200 per day to start so you get enough clicks to learn from. At roughly $3–5 per click, $50 a day buys about 10–17 clicks. Treat tool fees as a share of total cost, and pick the option whose fee stays reasonable at your planned spend.
